Why Self Publish?

No question stirs up as much controversy to writers as I have proposed.

Why are you self-publishing?

You see, in the world of writing (fiction & non-fiction at least), published writers are held in the highest esteem, whereas the self-publisher is seen as the déclassé.

I can see why.
